Today, 21st September, 2017 is International Day of Peace. The Day’s theme for 2017 is “Together for Peace: Respect, Safety and Dignity for All” which is based on the TOGETHER global campaign that promotes respect, safety and dignity for everyone forced to flee their homes in search of a better life.

As earlier Posted, The International Day of Peace (“Peace Day”) is observed around the world each year on 21 September. Established in 1981 by unanimous United Nations resolution, Peace Day provides a globally shared date for all humanity to commit to Peace above all differences and to contribute to building a Culture of Peace.

Join me to discuss Peace. My question for the day is: “What Does PEACE Mean To You”? In the current situation of the country, we need to talk a lot more about peace. What role are you playing to ensure there is peace in your country? What about the libraries in your community? What do you think librarians and libraries can do to ensure peace in? Talk about Social media, what can be done to ensure peace on Social media?
